SCI Faculty launch clinical trial to treat metastatic GI cancer
Stem Cell Institute faculty members Branden Moriarity, Beau Webber, and R. Scott McIvor have opened a new clinical trial for the treatment of metastatic gastrointestinal solid tumor cancer in partnership withthe National Cancer Institute. The Phase II clinical trial, which will use cutting-edge CRISPR genetic engineering, has opened exclusively at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center, and has already begun enrolling patients.
