The Department of Orthopedic Surgery focuses its research on improving diagnosis and treatment of conditions important to our patients and their families and fostering scientific advancements to solve orthopedic problems in the future.

The department’s national and international presence in orthopedic and sports medicine research focuses on a variety of surgical subspecialities and patient demographics.

Our research committee regularly reviews research protocol design and grant submission activities. Through these efforts, our patient-based research efforts are fostered and expanded, and research designs are evaluated and supported.

MUSCULOSKELETAL RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM
