Dean Jakub Tolar paid a visit to the Visible Heart® Laboratories, a resource that provides medical education using 3D printing technology, virtual reality, and anatomic models.
"It was incredible to see in real time how we position ourselves to translate what they do in the Visible Heart Lab into the education of our residents and fellows and faculty and how much we can improve patient outcomes by being able to model this before the surgery center," said Dr. Tolar.

The course will be offered for no credit to non-students, or for 2 or 3 credits to University students (3 credits requires added research project). The class will meet from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and include lectures, small group discussions, demonstrations and participation in a human gross anatomy laboratory.
