Karger Helps Spearhead an Antibody Test for COVID-19
April 15, 2020

LMP assistant professor Amy Karger has been a key figure in the rapid development of an antibody test for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The test shows who has been exposed and has recovered from COVID-19. Within 48 hours tested individuals can learn whether they have protective antibodies in their blood. Specimens are being processed at LMP's Advanced Research and Diagnostics Laboratory. Listen to a WCCO radio interview with Karger at this link.
