The 7T Translational Alliance of North America (TANA), held its annual meeting at the University's Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR) on August 5, 2024.

Conference attendees touring CMRR

This year's conference, Advances and Challenges in Clinical Ultra-High Field MRI, was organized by Mayo's Kim Amrami, MD and UMN's Jutta Ellermann, MD. 7T MRI is a non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging technique that uses an ultra-high magnetic field of 7 Tesla to scan the human body.

Poster presentations

The conference hosted 120 attendees from North America and included more than 20 presentations, 40 posters and Q & A sessions by leading experts in high-field clinical MRI use and translational research. The group was invited to tour CMRR's facilities and learn about our 7T Terra MRI as well as our 10.5T MRI.

Reception at Mill City

The conference concluded with attendees gathering at the Mill City Museum for a reception and poster award ceremony. We are proud to have been part of this event, bringing providers and researchers from across North America together to learn about the powerful advancements in magnetic resonance imaging.
