Shannon Sullivan, PhD, MPH, joins LMP in molecular epidemiology

The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology announces the appointment of Shannon Sullivan to our faculty as an assistant professor.

Sullivan comes to LMP from the U of M Department of Pediatrics Division of Epidemiology and Clinical Research, where she was a postdoctoral researcher under the mentorship of Pediatrics associate professor Jenny Poynter and LMP professor Nathan Pankratz.

Sullivan earned an MS degree in organic chemistry from Georgia State University in 2006. She earned an MPH degree in environmental health in 2017 and a PhD in occupational and environmental epidemiology in 2019, both from the University of Minnesota.
