Howard J. Ansel, MD, FACR, Inducted into Society of Abdominal Radiology Membership Hall of Fame

Dr. Howard Ansel, Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School and longstanding member of the Minneapolis VA medical community since 1974, was inducted into the Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR) Member Hall of Fame.

The SAR Member Hall of Fame recognizes senior Society members who have contributed to the SAR. This honor is applied annually to those who have reached 35+ years of continuous SAR (+SGR/SUR) membership.

Dr. Ansel is a University of Minnesota Medical School alumnus and an accomplished GI radiologist. His first SAR meeting was in 1982, and he has since achieved great heights in the field, including receiving a Minnesota Radiological Society Gold Medal.

“In addition to his accomplishments as a GI radiologist, Dr. Ansel is a wonderful person and outstanding teacher,” said Dr. Jessica Kuehn-Hajder.
