University of Minnesota's ENT Program Earns Recognition as 40th Best in the Nation
In a recent announcement by the US News and World Report, the University of Minnesota's Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery program at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center (UMMC) has been lauded as the 40th best Ear, Nose and Throat programs in the nation.
Samir Khariwala, MD, MS, the Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota, expressed his gratitude for the recognition. "We are pleased to be recognized for the incredible work our team does for patients," he said. "This ranking is a reflection of the hard work and commitment of our entire team to deliver exceptional patient care and pursue groundbreaking research."
The program ranked highly among patient outcomes, advanced technologies and patient experience. This reflects the excellent services provided by the whole care team, and the cutting edge skills of our practitioners.
The US News and World Report's annual Best Hospitals rankings help patients find the best care across a wide range of specialties. Three M Health Fairview hospitals were named among the top 10 in Minnesota: UMMC, Southdale Hospital, and Ridges Hospital. Two specialties at UMMC were also ranked among the top 50 in the nation: Cancer Care, and Ear, Nose and Throat care.
