Meet Dr. Ada Breitenbucher! Dr. Breitenbucher will be joining us as a neurohospitalist in the General Neurology division.

Fellowship: Hospice and Palliative Medicine, UMN

Why did you decide to work at the University of Minnesota? The UMN feels like home. The University as a place of clinical excellence paired with deep interests in research and academia has always felt like a natural start to my clinical and professional practice. The faculty are engaged and dedicated to their work. I'm most looking forward to being a part of the residency program and joining a department that understands the importance of building the next generation of neurologists. 

What is your favorite Minnesota activity? Biking, walking around the lakes, paddling/kayaking

If you weren’t a physician, you would be... a book editor. You get to read amazing stories and help share them with the world! As someone who grew up in the era of Harry Potter, books offer us magic and imagination that can last a lifetime.
