Why did you decide to work at the University of Minnesota? I was drawn to the University of Minnesota by the collaborative culture, the supportive and visionary team, and an academic environment that encourages both clinical excellence and professional growth. It felt like the right place to thrive as a physician and as a member of an engaged academic community.

What are you most looking forward to in Minnesota? I am still new to Minnesota, but I am looking forward to exploring the lakes and trails and experiencing firsthand what makes Minnesota summers so highly regarded.

Coolest/geekiest/most random thing about you? I am an avid chess enthusiast and enjoy following elite tournaments. I have had the chance to meet and photograph with several top grandmasters.

If you weren’t a doctor, you’d be… a debate team coach (I used to coach during medical school and always enjoyed it).
