Malgorzata Marjanska, PhD Receives Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award to France for Research in Medical Sciences

MINNEAPOLIS, MN- Sept. 11, 2020 – The U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board announced that Malgorzata Marjanska, PhD, professor in the University of Minnesota Department of Radiology has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award to France. Dr. Marjanska will research at Sorbonne Université – Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière as part of a project to develop and translate experimental methods for quantification of 2-hydroxyglutarate and cystathionine in human glioma to the clinical environment to be used for prognosis, follow-up, and monitoring treatment response.

As a Fulbright Scholar, Marjanska will share knowledge and foster meaningful connections across communities in the United States and France.
