Training Sites
As a fellow in the Department of Urology, you'll have a variety of training opportunities at two hospitals in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
University of Minnesota Medical Center
University of Minnesota Medical Center is truly the nucleus of the urology residency and fellowship training program. From oncology to reconstruction, infertility to female urology, every major urological discipline is represented at this training site.
All reconstructive urology surgeries are performed here. The departmental offices, clinic and medical school are all located in the same building.
Gillette Lifetime Specialty Healthcare Clinic
We participate in an adult and multidisciplinary clinic at Gillette Lifetime Clinic. Approximately two days per month, we see adult patients with spina bifida, cerebral palsy and other congenital conditions that affect bladder function. All surgeries are performed at UMN Medical Center.
