Strides Against Bladder Cancer is a family-friendly event to celebrate patients and families who have experienced bladder cancer and fundraise for bladder cancer research at the University of Minnesota Institute for Prostate and Urologic Cancers (IPUC). This is a non-timed walk where you can walk as far as a 3K or as little as one step. We encourage you to bring your family, friends, and dogs to this important event. Whether you walk, volunteer, or donate, your contribution makes a significant impact. Each participant receives a t-shirt at check-in.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed to Strides 2025! It is because of your support that we raised an incredible $30,533 (and counting!) for bladder cancer research at IPUC. We are so grateful to the donors, sponsors, participants, staff, and volunteers who made this event possible.

We hope to see you at next year's Strides Against Bladder Cancer!

The University of Minnesota is at the forefront of research to identify early warning signs, discover better treatments, and work toward a potential cure. Some examples of our research progress in bladder cancer include identifying new urine-based diagnostics tests, treating early-stage cancer to preserve the bladder, and identifying precision medicine strategies to use chemotherapy more effectively.
