Dr. Hu is a dual fellowship-trained adult and pediatric hand and upper extremity orthopedic surgeon. She is originally from Los Angeles, California. After earning her undergraduate degree in Biology at Amherst College, where she played collegiate hockey, she completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. She then completed the Harvard Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at Brigham and Women's/Boston Children's Hospital, followed by an additional Pediatric Hand Surgery Fellowship at Gillette Children's in St. Paul.
She will be caring for adult and pediatric patients with a broad range of upper extremity issues at TRIA Orthopaedic Center in Bloomington and at Gillette Children’s. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing pickleball, exploring the Twin Cities restaurant scene, and cheering on Minnesota sports teams.
