Biography

Bio

Dr. David Supik, DO, is a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota. He completed his family medicine residency in Chicago’s northside, affiliated with University of Illinois at Chicago, and sports medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. It was during his fellowship that he served as a fellow team physician for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, Mahoning Valley Scrappers, and John Carroll University. After training, Dr. Dave joined the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Minneapolis in 2017. Outside of his clinics in Edina and Minneapolis, Dr. Dave currently serves as Medical Director for the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and team physician for Cooper-Robbinsdale High School. He also enjoys spending time with family, traveling, boating, and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Dr. Dave emphasizes a philosophy of treating patients holistically and striving to deliver patient-centered care through collaboration; working together to find an agreeable treatment plan. He maintains a passion to educate patients about their own conditions and to improve their level of function regardless of their age, background, or abilities.
