Biography

Bio

I have been on the University of Minnesota Otolaryngology Faculty and at Masonic Cancer Center  for more than 25 years. I specialize in the multidisciplinary care of Head and neck malignancies and related conditions.  With other  multidisciplinary cancer care teams I  provide comprehensive care and surveillance of head and neck cancers and achieve cutting edge care through innovative clinical trials in oral precancerous lesions and cancers.

Research Summary

Our bench to bedside research team has  performed several federally funded  cancer prevention trials for oral cancer. I lead a research team whose goal is to find drugs  that reduce head and neck cancer incidence while providing screening services for patients with precancerous conditions.
