Dr. John Robert Cole completed his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society and graduated magna cum laude. While in medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, he developed a passion for musculoskeletal health.
He completed his specialty training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York, NY. While there, he was recognized as an outstanding leader in the operating room and the classroom by the faculty and his peers. Thanks to wonderful mentorship and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to patients, he chose to devote his life to the care of the hand and upper extremity.
After residency, he concluded his training in hand and upper extremity surgery with a rigorous fellowship at the Tufts/New England Baptist Combined Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship in Boston, MA.
He offers the latest in minimally invasive procedures including endoscopic, arthroscopic, and microscopic techniques. He has extensive experience with office-based procedures to help his patients avoid risks associated with general anesthesia.
