Biography

Bio

Dr. Vakhshori is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. She completed her fellowship training in hand and upper extremity at New York University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Prior to fellowship training, she completed residency training at the University of Southern California, which included one year dedicated to basic science research. In her free time, Dr. Vakhshori enjoys yoga, crocheting, and spending time with her family and dog.

Clinical Summary

Hand injuries and conditions have the potential to upend a patient's life and need to be treated with consideration of the patient as a whole. I partner with my patients to fully understand their symptoms and how their condition impacts their lives. With a passion in research, I incorporate the latest techniques to provide the best patient care possible.
