Faculty Spotlight: Paul Wojack, MD
Dr. Paul Wojack joined the Musculoskeletal and Breast Imaging divisions in August. Originally from south Minneapolis, Dr. Wojack completed an undergraduate degree in violin performance at the College of St. Scholastica. He subsequently moved to New York for his medical training, completing medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, residency at Northwell's Zucker School of Medicine, and MSK fellowship at New York University.
After a decade of training on the East Coast, Dr. Wojack was eager to return home and is looking forward to being close to family again. He loves his hometown of Minneapolis and is looking forward to enjoying all the great food, arts, and outdoor spaces of the city.
Dr. Wojack was quite involved with research throughout his residency and fellowship, presenting at multiple meetings both nationally and internationally and receiving multiple awards. He is looking forward to starting his academic career, working with all the residents and fellows, and carving out his own research niche at UMN.
Dr. Wojack has many interests outside of work. As a classically trained violinist, he loves classical music and attending the orchestra and opera. He enjoys gardening and fishing. He also claims to have a bit of a nerdy side as well, with a love for gaming and watching anime.
