Pediatric Urologist Dr. Victor Figueroa Joins Faculty

We are proud to welcome Dr. Victor Figueroa, an esteemed pediatric urologist, to our faculty. With a background in urological medicine, Dr. Figueroa brings a wealth of expertise and a commitment to advancing pediatric urology research and education.

Dr. Figueroa has extensive experience in both research and clinical management of neurogenic bladder. His contributions include publications in international journals, focusing on the use of botulinum toxin for the management of bladders that do not respond to traditional treatment methods. Furthermore, he has demonstrated a particular interest in the study and surgical management of tumors of the genitourinary tract. 

His academic journey includes: 

  • Masters in Medical Education: Universidad de la Sabana, Bogota, Colombia. 
  • Pediatric Urology Fellowship: The Hospital for Sick Children – University of Toronto, Toronto, ON-Canada.
