Our January seminar, “Formative Research to Pilot Clinical Trial: Leveraging a K-Award to Launch a Career in Research,” will take place on Tuesday, January 13th, at 12:00 - 1:00 pm CT. Steven A. John, PhD, MPH, from the Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual and Gender Health and Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, University of Minnesota Medical School, will be presenting.
LaPrincess Brewer, MD, MPH, from Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health System, will be presenting. Dr. Brewer will present on an evidence-based strategy to promote cardiovascular health and digital health through community-based participatory research. The presentation will address the following objectives:
Annie Rusk, MD, will be presenting. Dr. Rusk is a physician specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She focuses on the care of individuals with respiratory failure and pulmonary disease requiring treatment in the hospital and the Intensive Care Unit. Her research interests include promoting respiratory health in Indigenous North Americans with community engaged methods. Registration required. All are welcome!
