The Program in Health Disparities Research addresses health disparities among communities most impacted by health inequities by supporting and expanding diverse academic and community educational programs focusing on health inequities. 

The program also helps develop the next generation of health disparity researchers through high-quality mentoring and training.

Leaders in health disparities research present lectures and meet in small groups with faculty, fellows, and students, and visit community organizations.

Undergraduate students work with researchers on cancer and health disparities related topics.

Health Equity Leadership & Mentoring Program
An opportunity for junior faculty members at the University of Minnesota. Applications are currently closed and will reopen July 2019.

The University of Minnesota Cancer-Related Health Disparities Education and Career Development Program
A joint training program in the Medical School and the School of Public Health.
