Community-Academic Board & Collaborators
About the Community-Academic Board
The PHDR Community-Academic Board is a unified board composed of University of Minnesota researchers and community members including representatives from health agencies and non-profit organizations. While board co-chairs from the university and the community facilitate monthly meetings, all the board members carry equal status. The board plays a governance role, making key decisions and providing strategic direction for PHDR activities. Additionally, it works to strengthen connections between PHDR and local communities, fostering effective community-academic partnerships aimed at advancing health equity.
