UMN COMMUNITY BENEFITS

As a fellow, you are part of a vibrant community of residents, fellows and faculty.

In the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, we are home to a residency program, three additional fellowships and both master's degree and doctoral degree students. We welcome fellows to take part in Department-specific events such as grand rounds, our annual guest lecture event and social events to ensure that you feel part of this community!

The broader Graduate Medical Education (GME) community includes various committees that welcome fellow participation and offers resources for assistance when needed. Our Office of Graduate Medical Education (OGME) leads GME orientation at the institution level, facilitates access to a variety of support resources for fellows, including the Physician Wellness Collaborative, and offers opportunities for you to connect with trainees beyond our department.

Join the resident and fellow WhatsApp group. This forum offers the opportunity to connect with other residents and fellows, share valuable feedback with your representatives to the GMEC, and spark new initiatives. This group is exclusively for residents and fellows.
