As an otologist, I specialize in the treatment of chronic ear disease and perform surgery for tympanic membrane perforations, cholesteatoma, otosclerosis, ossicular chain reconstruction, and cochlear implants. I treat patient of all ages, children and adults.
The otologic condition in which I have the broadest surgical expertise is cholesteatoma, an aggressive epithelial cyst grows in the ear and left untreated, can cause serious complications.
Since 2013 I have been performing endoscopic ear surgery for all middle ear surgeries and selected cases of cholesteatoma. This minimally invasive surgical technique allows for improved visualization, structure preservations, avoidance of a a scar behind the ear, quicker recovery and decreased postoperative pain.
