I originally trained and worked as an artist and my surgical career has been devoted to using those artistic skills to restore peoples’ faces. Research Summary
Dr. Walsh is also a research fellow with the Minnesota Design Center in the School of Design at the University of Minnesota. Using his design training, Dr. Walsh partners with people who have experienced homelessness to promote the health of the unsheltered community. Together they research and design grassroots solutions to address homelessness.
