Did you know October is National Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Awareness Month? Sudden cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in the United States. There are more than 356,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests annually in the U.S., according to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation. Nearly 90% of SCA victims do not survive.
