Research on Depression, Self-Injury and Suicide Risk in Adolescents
Depression and self-injury are common mental health problems in adolescents, and both increase the risk for suicide attempts. Several different research teams in the CAMH division are actively working in this area to advance knowledge about the biology underlying depression and suicide risk in teens, and studying ways to intervene.
