The Stromnes lab lost a valued member of their group last November. Ebony Miller was an amazing scientist, colleague, and friend, and will be forever missed. Ebony planned to attend Howard Medical School this coming summer and was going to pursue women's health. To honor Ebony's memory, two lab members, Zoe Schmiechen and Jonah Butler, established a scholarship at Howard Medical School. This scholarship specifically benefits international students as Ebony came from the Bahamas and she and countless others face financial barriers to attend a US medical school as an international student. If you have any questions, please contact Ingunn Stromnes, or Zoe Schmiechen and Jonah Butler (the founders of this scholarship).

Please consider donating to this scholarship in Ebony's memory. Additionally, feel free to share this link among your community.

Thank you for your support,
The Stromnes Lab
