Dr. Kandaswamy Leads Milestone Achievement of 10,000+ Kidney Transplants
New Transplant Achievement ✅
Under the leadership of physician faculty member Dr. Raja Kandaswamy, Director of the Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Programs and the Abdominal Transplant Fellowship Program in the Department of Surgery, M Health Fairview is now one of the few centers in the US to accomplish the milestone achievement by surpassing 10,000 kidney transplants.
"It's a huge achievement," said Dr. Raja Kandaswamy, who is also the medical director of solid organ transplants at the University of Minnesota Medical Center.
