clinical Experience
During the first two years of training, residents primarily receive General Surgery clinical experiences, with one Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery rotation block each year. The third year of training is a combination of Plastic Surgery and electives suggested by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The final three years of training are primarily spent on Plastic and Reconstructive clinical experiences, including Breast Reconstruction, Cosmetic Surgery, Hand Surgery and Microsurgery. Dedicated research rotations are provided during the RL3 and RL5 years of training.
