Introducing After-Hours Pricing & Low Cost Imaging Options
The University Imaging Centers is announcing the introduction of after-hours pricing for most user operated instruments. Experienced trained users with after-hours access can reserve and use instruments outside of regular business hours at a 25% discount.
With the implementation of after-hours pricing, we are discontinuing the duration discount for user operated systems. However, the duration discount will continue to be available for extended tissue clearing imaging services that utilize the 3i Cleared Tissue LightSheet, and Caliber I.D. RS-G4 ribbon scanning confocal.
Along with introducing after-hours pricing, we adjusted rates for several systems to provide additional low cost imaging options. The following instruments can now be reserved by trained users at a rate of $10.00 per hour, in 4-hour blocks ($40 per block):
- UIC-CCRB - Nikon Ti-E (widefield)
- UIC-CCRB - Nikon C2+ (confocal)
- UIC-Jackson - Zeiss Widefield & TIRF (widefield)
- UIC-Jackson - Zeiss Spinning Disk (confocal)
Furthermore, the following systems have also had their hourly rate reduced:
- UIC-CCRB - Leica LMD6500
- UIC-Jackson Hall - Nikon AZ100M
- UIC-Jackson Hall - Typhoon FLA 9500
- UIC-Jackson Hall - Amersham Imager
- UIC-Snyder Hall - Nikon 90i
- UIC-Snyder Hall - Nikon AZ100 C1si
These systems are also eligible for our new reduced hourly basic training rate. For additional details please visit our rates page.
