University Imaging Center Services
Overview
In addition to training users to independently operate our instrumentation, the University Imaging Centers offers several end-to-end research and full sample preparation services to University of Minnesota investigators as well as external users.
Full Service Sample Preparation
We have the expertise, equipment, and reagents to prepare specimens for some of your light and electron microscopy needs including tissue clearing, immunofluorescence and immunogold methods. Multiplexed Ion Beam Imaging (MIBI) sample preparation services are also now available.
Free Secondary Antibodies
The University Imaging Centers offer free Thermo Fisher Scientific secondary antibodies (20 µl aliquots) at all UIC locations.
Contact UIC staff to get yours! All the antibodies are derived in goat and available in anti-mouse, anti-rabbit and anti-rat versions, directed to the whole IgG molecule and are highly cross-absorbed. Emission selections are optimized for UIC scopes, so they are intened for UIC users.
