Care Team

Our gynecologic cancer specialists treat all cancers of the female reproductive system, including cervix, ovaries, uterus, and vulva. Our nationally-recognized team of gynecologic oncologists, radiation oncologists, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff work as an integrated team to provide patients with leading-edge cancer care, using the latest and most advanced treatment approaches. Our team meets regularly to discuss each patient's treatment plan, and routinely consults with other medical experts within and outside our program.

Our program is at the forefront of gynecologic treatments and therapies and has achieved among the highest five-year cancer survival rates, as determined by the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics. We are also designated as a National Center of Excellence in Women's Health by the Office of Women's Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

As one of the largest gynecologic cancer programs in the Midwest, we offer a full range of treatment options, including specialized chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical procedures. Our providers write, design, and lead many clinical research trials, both locally and nationally, and all of our physicians utilize robotic surgery to provide minimally-invasive surgical options to our patients. We also provide important supportive care including access to psychologists, genetic counselors, physical rehabilitation services, and more.

A diagnosis of gynecologic cancer can impact many areas of a patient's life. We provide opportunities for patients to gain emotional and personal support as they navigate through cancer treatment, including educational seminars, access to support groups, and peer-to-peer support.
