Kirk D. Ramin, MD, Endowment Fund Award

The Kirk D. Ramin, M.D. Endowment Fund was established in recognition of his dedication to the training and continued education of countless providers of pregnancy-related care.

This fund will provide financial support for attendance at obstetric-related conferences, with the goal of enhancing education related to the care of women in their pregnancies, from the routine to the complex.

This fund will continue his lifelong commitment to his colleagues, students and patients.

In April of 2016, Dr. Ramin reluctantly relinquished his active teaching and clinical duties due to health reasons. He passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020, surrounded by family and friends.

“Education has been a key part of my 22-year career in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and I felt compelled to continue this mission despite leaving my clinical practice last year.
Because of your generosity in donating to the Kirk D. Ramin Scholarship, we are able to begin offering scholarships in 2018 for continuing education of health care providers that care for women and their complicated pregnancies."
~ Kirk Ramin, M.D.
