Resident and Fellow Research Day

Research Day is an opportunity for residents and fellows to present their research projects in a public forum for Department Faculty and University of Minnesota guests.  All fourth year senior residents present an oral topic and third year junior residents present abstract posters in preparation for regional or national conferences.  Gynecologic Oncology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine junior fellows present their thesis topics.

The Research Day Award is given to the resident who presents the best research project at Graduation. The award is inspired by Dr. Hardin E. Olson for his years of teaching and serving as a clinical educator and mentor to OB/GYN residents and medical students. We also want to acknowledge his selfless service to our community, more specifically, to the Community-University Health Care Center (CUHCC) in Minneapolis.

The next research Day will be held on September 20, 2024.
