Hardin E. Olson, MD, Research Day

Dr. Hardin E. Olson received his medical degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from George Washington Medical School. He proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Munich, Germany. After returning to Minnesota, Hardin entered private practice in Minneapolis, MN for 6 years and then joined the OB/GYN practice at North Clinic in Robbinsdale, MN for 25 years. Following his retirement, his love propelled him to join the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health at the U of M Medical School where he was a volunteer member of the U of M clinical faculty for ten years.

Each year, the Hardin E. Olson, MD Award is presented to the senior resident who presents the most notable research project at Research Day. This award was created in honor of Dr. Olson, for his years of teaching and serving as a clinical educator and mentor to OB/GYN residents and medical students. We also want to acknowledge his selfless serivce to our community, more specifically, to the Community-University Health Care Center (CUHCC) in Minneapolis.
