Research
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health is committed to advancing knowledge of women's health through research and defining the standard of care for all women, today and tomorrow. Clinicians in our Department are actively involved in multiple clinical trials testing the most promising, cutting edge therapies currently under investigation. In addition to conducting clinical trials, our faculty are actively pursuing basic research programs aimed at improving all aspects of women's health. These research efforts cover a broad range of topics from understanding the genetic basis of ovarian cancer to improving fertility using the most advanced techniques to increasing access to health care for underserved communities.

Active Research
Every faculty member in our Department is actively engaged in a research project aimed at improving women’s health. Our research efforts cover a wide variety of topics ranging from basic science research in the laboratory to treating patients directly in the clinical setting.

Resident & Fellow Research
Residents and Fellows in the Department are encouraged to develop and pursue research areas of interest and relevance with a faculty research mentor. The Fellowship programs both have dedicated blocks of protected research time for further exploration of projects and research interests.

Clinical Trials
The health care providers in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health are committed to continually improving the standard of care in all aspects of women’s health. Clinical trials are critical for advancing the field of gynecologic cancer prevention and treatment.
