Welcome to the home of the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Faculty are an integral and valued resource at the Medical School.
Faculty members in the Medical School are placed on one of three career paths: tenure and tenure-track, academic track and clinician track. Each track recognizes and rewards excellence in individuals’ contributions to the mission of the Medical School.
The Office of Faculty Affairs is committed to the lifelong professional development and academic success of all Medical School faculty members through the entire faculty lifecycle.
The Office of Faculty Affairs manages several personnel processes to support the recruitment, hiring and retention of a diverse Medical School faculty throughout various stages of their academic careers.
