AAMC Leadership Development Seminars
The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) regularly sponsors faculty members who are selected to join two of the Association of American Medical College's (AAMC) Leadership Development Seminars. Deadlines for registration will regularly be communicated on the OFA website and faculty newsletter.
Registration Funding
OFA has limited funding available each academic year to cover registration for faculty members who are selected by AAMC to attend their leadership seminars. Faculty members can apply for the seminars directly through AAMC and if selected, OFA will reimburse their registration funding. Please email the Office of Faculty Affairs at [email protected] before submitting your application to confirm the availability of funding for your seminar. Note that OFA's sponsorship covers only registration for the seminars. We encourage departments to provide supplemental funding for travel, hotel, and per diem.
Early Career Faculty Leadership Development Seminar
This popular and highly interactive seminar provides faculty at the assistant professor level with foundational leadership knowledge and skills that will enable them to achieve their career goals, advance, and thrive as a successful leader in academic medicine and science.

Mid-Career Faculty Leadership Development Seminar
This seminar is designed to provide mid-career faculty with the knowledge and skills necessary to support their continued progress along the path to leadership in academic medicine and science. The seminar covers organizational leadership topics and career advancing strategies that are essential for effective leaders throughout various mission-critical activities.
