Recent work published by Dr. Martina Bazzaro's lab on the mechanisms leading to chemoresistance in ovarian cancer entitled "Associated Protein and Regulator of Paclitaxel Sensitivity in Ovarian Cancer Cells" was selected for an oral presentation at the American Society of Cell Biology (ASCB) Annual Meeting. Ashley Mooneyham, a master student in Dr. Bazzaro's lab, gave the presentation at the Annual Meeting which helped this past weekend in San Diego. The work featured in the publication and the oral presentation was supported by the Department of Defense, the Randy Shaver Community Funds and Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA), and was done in collaboration with Dr. Shridhar at the Mayo Clinics in Rochester, MN.
