Ten OB/GYN Faculty Featured on Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s List of 2020 Top Doctors
Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s 2020 Top Doctors list recognizes physicians in the Twin Cities metro region who provide exceptional care. This year's list features nearly 200 University of Minnesota Medical School doctors, ten of whom are from the Department of OB/GYN and Women's Health.
The featured physicians (from divisions Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Urogynecology) are: Peter Argenta, MD (Gyn Onc); Melissa Geller, MD (Gyn Onc); Rahel Ghebre, MD (Gyn Onc); Sally Mullany, MD (Gyn Onc); John Fischer, MD (Urogyn); Carrie Terrell, MD (OBGYN); Cresta Jones, MD (MFM); Dan Landers, MD (MFM); Phillip Rauk, MD (MFM); and Yasuko Yamamura, MD (MFM).
To make this list, physicians were asked to nominate one or more doctors (excluding themselves) whom they would choose if they or a loved one were seeking medical care. Candidates are chosen from a myriad of specialties and are evaluated on a number of factors including peer recognition, professional achievement, and research and disciplinary history.
