Genevieve Melton-Meaux, MD, PhD, Awarded McKnight Presidential Endowed Professor
The Department of Surgery is proud to announce that Genevieve Melton-Meaux, MD, PhD, has been named a McKnight Presidential Endowed Professor.
The McKnight Presidential Endowed Professorship is among the highest honors for faculty at the University. Recipients are recommended by their college dean and chosen at the discretion of the president based, in part, on their academic and research accomplishments and their contributions to advancing the University among its peers.
Dr. Melton-Meaux is a professor in the Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery and serves in leadership roles in health informatics and data science across the University and Fairview Health Services. As a nationally recognized leader in clinical informatics, she uses data, technology, and innovation to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
