I am originally from Houston, TX. I attended graduate school at Tulane University before moving to north Louisiana for medical school and general surgery residency. I was thrilled to match at the University of Minnesota to continue my vascular surgery training because of the robust range of pathologies, personal attention from faculty, and excellent camaraderie between the vascular residents and fellows.

I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the US during high school. I moved around for medical school and general surgery residency, and now am happily living in Minnesota. The University of Minnesota vascular surgery program is a great place to train. Every staff is invested in educating trainees, and there is a great camaraderie among vascular trainees. We have a great mix of cases from open bypasses to complex physician modified endografts, and I am sure anyone going through this program will be equipped to do most cases comfortably in their future.
