Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship Program Match

The Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship Program received over 142 applications for our two Match positions. After completing a rigorous and competitive selection process, our program interviewed 23 candidates over two in-person interview dates in February and March 2026. This year we split our match into two tracks with success in matching both, one fellow for the Cardiac Track and one fellow for the Thoracic Track.

Program Director Rosemary Kelly, MD, and Associate Program Directors Amit Bhargava, MD, MHA, & Matthew Soule, MD, extend their gratitude to all faculty, fellows, and staff for their involvement and role in this critical recruitment process.
