Why I chose this specialty: I am an Internal Medicine & Pediatrics physician who gets to work with both adults and children. I love the flexibility and breadth of clinical exposure inherent in this specialty. I love helping children get healthy again and listening to the interesting stories of adults.

Why Medicine: It is the perfect blend of dynamic problem solving, empathy, teamwork, and applied science.  My training at the University of Minnesota (medical school & residency) has been fantastic. So much, in fact, that I continue to brave Minnesota winters even though each year for the last nine years I've promised myself it will be my last.
