ODEI Welcomes Mya Wilson as Administrative Director

Mya Wilson, DHA, MPH, MBA has joined the University of Minnesota Medical School Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion as the Administrative Director.

Dr. Wilson has over 20 years experience in corporate environments and private practice overseeing the administrative and operational aspects of programs and initiatives and has incorporated DEI throughout her career to achieve individual and business objectives. Prior to joining the team, Dr. Wilson was on faculty at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in the Public Health Sciences Department. 

In her role as ODEI Administrative Director, Dr. Wilson will manage the operational and strategic aspects of diversity, equity & inclusion across the entire membership of the Medical School, will collaborate with other DEI leaders to achieve goals, and will serve as liaison to the Dean’s Office to assure alignment with the Medical School’s mission, policies and procedures.
