Gov. Walz Appoints U of M Medical School Professor to Children’s Cabinet

Rebecca Shlafer, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor for the Department of Pediatrics has recently been appointed to a position on the Children's Cabinet Advisory Council by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. Among the approximately 200 other applicants, Dr. Shlafer will join a team of 15 members devoted to executing the goals of Executive Order 19-34 focused placing children at the center of the government.
