Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Announces First Ever Health Care Heroes Awardees

In light of the past year and the toll of the COVID-19 pandemic, the  Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has recently announced a new award, the Health Care Heroes awards. With over 100 nominations for the award, the Health Care Heroes award is given to those individuals in the Twin Cities area who have put in invaluable work into innovation, care, dedication, and compassion to work to improve our current health and medical climate. Among the winners was Abraham Jacob, MD, MHA, Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the University of Minnesota. His work along with other healthcare workers of all specialties on the front lines has provided continual care and medical advancements in light of the risk and uncertainty that has accompanied the pandemic. Additionally, manufacturers, researchers, and entrepreneurs have also continued to work, providing and producing numerous advancements and novel technologies to help those in need.
