Applications are considered on a rolling basis - Support is limited to 1 paper per fiscal year (July 1- June 30) per faculty member who is a first or senior author.

Recognizing that the costs of publication have risen significantly, especially for open access journals whose fees are mandatory, the Department of Pediatrics is pleased to offer financial support to help offset research publication fees.

Application Instructions

The Department of Pediatrics participates in our Medical School's Mock Study section program to help primarily our Assistant Professors get their first national level grants. This initiative uses an inter-departmental, 2-step process for providing constructive feedback on NIH grant applications. The first step is review of the specific aims page, and the second step is a review of the full proposal.
