Dr. Fenster is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago and completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After residency, he obtained a Masters in Clinical Investigation at the University of Utah as part of a Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship. He worked at Primary Children's Hospital and Riverton Hospital in Salt Lake City for 8 years before moving to Minneapolis to work at Masonic Children's and Ridges pediatric units. He has conducted research in infectious diseases in hospitalized children and served on QI workgroups related to disordered eating and family centered rounding.
